This new type of popular science work is intended for young professionals in the field of geological sciences, especially students of natural sciences. In his efforts to make the text comprehensible and interesting, the author drew on motifs from his travels abroad and his experience from mineralogical and geochemical research on ore deposits in Czechoslovakia, especially the ore veins in Příbram.
