Heřmanovice sphere

Sample of so-called Hermanov sphere. The core of the sphere consists of dark, shiny phlogopite, which is bordered all around by radially arranged needles of silvery grey anthophyllite. The outer edge of the sphere is again covered with a thin layer of phlogopite scales. This is a very rare mineralogical curiosity.
