A historically very rich sample of silver minerals from the famous Freiberg deposit. The sample contains numerous perfectly terminated crystals and grains of pyrargyrite, about 2-3 mm in size, with flat steel gray crystals of polybasite and especially with the rare xanthocon. Xanthocon forms tiny, roughly 1 mm large, glossy orange crystals, of which there are at least 8 throughout the sample. The Freiberg area is a type locality for xanthocon.
