Elbaite, muscovite, albite

This sample is composed of coarse-grained quartz and feldspar grains, upon which fan-like aggregates of the light mica muscovite have settled, reaching sizes of up to 3 cm. Crystals of light pink, vitreous luster, translucent elbaite grow on these aggregates. The largest and at the same time the most beautiful crystals of light pink elbaite reach a size of 7 mm.
