Availability: In stock

Dimension: 29 × 32 × 46 mm

Analysis confirmed black, scaly lennilenapeite from the type locality known for various UV minerals, Franklin in New Jersey, USA. There are only 4 localities in the world for this mineral. The specimen further contains orange spessartine, pink rhodonite, black franklinite, and translucent calcite, which is brightly red under UV light. Lennilenapeite forms scaly crystals that together represent a black, shiny aggregate similar to biotite. This aggregate is about 1 centimeter in size, which means that this specimen of the rare alumosilicate Mg,Mn,Fe,Zn and K is of exceptional quality.
