Aragonite forms elongated, colorless crystals that can reach up to 5.5 cm in size. Individual crystals also grow onto each other. The specimen is bounded on both sides and the individual crystals are generally not bounded. It is a nice example of this carbonate from the locality Podrečany, Slovakia.
