Amethyst, dolomite

An aesthetic large specimen of pinkish dolomite crystals with light amethyst scepter crystals, so-called “pigeon eggs”. The specimen is composed of clear double-terminated quartz crystals with a white younger crust, onto the apexes of which adhere transparent light purple double-terminated amethyst crystals. These crystals are accompanied by pinkish dolomite. These minerals grow on a massive galena-sphalerite vein. A historical, larger, very elegant specimen from Banská Štiavnica.
