Argentite forms steel-gray, metallic-luster, hemispherical crystals up to 0.4 mm in size. These crystals sit on a silicified matrix. A series of small but very effective crystals with a high metallic luster are found in the open cavities present. Argentite also forms tiny veins here. This is a very nice and undamaged specimen of well-developed cubic crystals of this silver sulfide from the type locality of Jáchymov. The specimen comes from the Eduard mine.
