A small sample of yellow acicular crystals of the extremely rare carlhintzeit, a hydrated fluoride of aluminum and calcium. This mineral was first described in the world from Hagendorf, Germany. However, newly found samples from China are still the richest and most aesthetic examples of this mineral. In this sample, carlhintzeit occurs with clear crystals of also very rare creedite.
