Availability: In stock

Dimension: 13 × 17 × 23 mm

A small specimen of beautiful deep red crystals of extremely rare pezzottite. This mineral has only a few deposits in the world and was named in 2003 after mineralogist Federico Pezzotta, who has been working in Madagascar for a long time. It is a mineral from the beryl group, which is trigonal (as opposed to hexagonal beryl) and contains lithium and cesium. A very nice specimen from Madagascar.
