Quartz geode, smoky quartz

A nice example of a quartz geode that is filled with smoky quartz crystals. The specimen dates back to 1987. The largest crystal in the cavity reaches up to 10 mm. The geode is perfectly terminated on the back side and stands on a base without a stand.
