Cobalto-calcite on the sample forms tapered pale pink, vitreous luster, translucent elongated and nicely shaped scalenohedra that reach a size of up to 1 cm and sit on the underlying rock. The sample is very rich in this mineral and comes from the Katanga locality, DR Congo.
